Nielson Custom Rifles was founded in 2011. As I began the search for the ultimate big game hunting rifle, custom rifles became a passion of mine. After waiting for nearly a year for a custom build from a well known gunsmith, I decided to take the leap and begin building rifles for myself. After an apprenticeship with a local gunsmith, I purchased the necessary equipment and began chambering rifles for myself and close friends. Over the years, the hobby job turned into a full time business. I take pride in the rifles produced in my shop, and my goal is to give the customer exactly what they are searching for in a build.
